About this exhibition
SWISSARTEXPO: Art for everyone - experience, marvel, network
From 21 to 25 August 2024, SWISSARTEXPO invites you to a fascinating encounter with over 100 artists from all over the world in the impressive setting of Zurich Main Station for the sixth time in a row. The renowned Swiss art festival SWISSARTEXPO starts its sixth round this August and transforms the hall of Zurich's main railway station into a centre of art.
Over 100 national and international artists will present their works in an exciting exhibition that caters to all tastes: from breathtaking paintings and fascinating sculptures to captivating photography and innovative digital art.
A journey through the history of art
A special highlight this year is the exterior panelling of the SWISSARTEXPO, which depicts the history of art from neoclassicism to pop art, allowing visitors to walk along this panelling and learn more about the different art styles. They can use this knowledge inside the exhibition to categorise the works on display by era.
